Over the course of three academic seasons, Adjua Gargi Nzinga Greaves inhabited unschoolMFA — a durational performance of extra-institutional higher education. Of Forests and Of Farms : On Faculty and Failure traces her exploration of pastoral metaphor in the books she used to inspire, direct, and reflect upon her performance and will be included as a core text of her full-length manuscript The Bulletin of Wilderness and Academy: an introductory conclusion to unschoolMFA, to be published as the closing action of unschoolMFA’s performance.
